Premature Ejaculation Facts, Treatment and Informations

Premature ejaculation or Premature Ejeculation (PE) is when a man ejaculates before he, and often times his partner wanted him to. Knowing the premature ejaculation facts and applying the right treatment is hence very vital.

Regardless of the definition, it is known that this condition can affect a person's emotional and sexual well being. Premature ejaculation affects approximately 30% of men in the United States at some point in time.

Premature Ejaculation Treatment should be understood for building family relations.

In the past, it was often thought that there was a mental reason for PE. It is now known that there are many factors that can contribute to it. These factors can be mental, or even physical.

Let’s start with some mental reasons. Sometimes when one feels rushed, or when a person feels guilty, there can be hurry to climax. Sometimes when experiencing erectile dysfunction, men may also try to rush to orgasm due to their anxiety about maintaining an erection. Many men with PE have anxiety issues that may or may not be related to sexual prowess. If there have been issues in the relationship (or lack thereof) that one is in, then that could cause changes in sexual performance.

Before talking about the physical reasons, let’s talk about the process of ejaculation. It involves two sequential actions. First it is the semen going into the urethra, and the second is when the orgasm occurs. That is the simplistic view, but there are many hormones, chemical, etc. Those are being transported throughout the body ultimately affecting performance. A change in any of the hormones, neurotransmitters, thyroid, prostate, etc. Can cause Premature Ejaculation Treatment.

One way of treating PE is with sexual therapy. Sometimes a squeeze method is used to delay orgasm. The gist of this method is that once the orgasm is close, the partner squeezes the penis just below the head until it subsides. Then the activity can be returned to.

Certain medicines and creams help prevent PE. There are a few different kinds of antidepressants commonly used. Not to mention the anesthetic creams that is put on the penis to lessen sensitivity.

When the issue is stress, or anxiety often some psychotherapy is the method of treatment. To overcome Premature Ejeculation is possible, but the best recipe is needed. Somewhere between the sexual therapy, psychotherapy and medications, a person can be successful at delaying ejaculation.
